I think I have experienced that all of the blanks must be filled in when adding cameras and eyepieces to your equipment. Otherwise they are not listed. Should be a warning if I am not mistaken.

You are correct, if you leave some information blank the scopes won’t work. There are a couple of message warning about this. For example, in the equipment page, in the forms, you can find a warning at the top:
And in the Telescope simulator that scope will appear grayed out if not available. When moving your mouse over the telescope, you should get a tooltip explaining what’s wrong with it:
Ideally, we should have a list of scopes without the need to enter so much info manually. Hopefully we’ll get there in the future
