Custom coordinates to observing lists

It would be terrific if we could add custom coordinates to observing lists. For example, centering midway between NGC 2175 and the Jellyfish Nebula would allow me to capture both. But I can only put cataloged objects in observing lists, not coordinates of views I would like to photograph.

While you can’t add comets directly, you can add custom targets to any observing list.

Check the toolbar right below the observing list name and look for the “+ CUSTOM TARGET” button.

That will open up a dialog to enter your coordinates:
