If you create an animated GIF of a planet that usually is of limited dimensions. At it’s native dimensions the GIF is rather pleasing, however it automatically resizes itself to the screen’s dimensions. With the current 4K (or even 8K) screens that kills the image.
Is it possible (for instance with a tickbox?) to limit the size to its native dimensions?
Yes, I completely understand the problem. It would seem the most logical solution would be to avoid enlarging pictures at all. I’ll think about it
And yes, I’m the only developer - actually, the only anything, because I also design the UI (not very pretty but functional, I hope), code automated tests, maintain and upgrade the server, talk to users, businesses, etc. Honestly, I have fun doing a bit of everything!
Honestly, I think not many people are aware of that. You have my massive respect, providing such a service on your own to the community for free. I’m already a sponsor, I can only urge others to do so as well. You basically provide a free service which in many respects is comparable to Astrobin’s Ultimate subscription which is just over 5 Euro’s a month. I’m hoping you will find the motivation to keep working on this!
