Error refreshing Astrophotography via Astrobin

Following the direction of the following error message:

“Error: We could not find that profile or the profile is empty! Please check you spelled your Astrobin username correctly and try again. If you believe this is a mistake, please report this error using the contact form link at the bottom of the page.”

This happens when I attempt to import from Astrobin, so it can grab new images. My Astrobin username is SpacePeanuts and the gallery URL is: https://app.astrobin.com/u/SpacePeanuts#gallery

I don’t think I’m doing anything different from what I’ve always done to refresh my gallery.

Thanks,
Andy

This reply is just to acknowledge this problem, in case someone else is having it. I expect the fix to be released this week.

This should be working fine now in version 250320.1149. Please give it a go and let me know if you bump into any issue.

I had to make a change to the import process because Astrobin does not allow downloading the original files anymore, so the largest available JPG version displayed on Astrobin is used instead. This should be fine for all public intents and purposes, as that’s the exact same file displayed to other people on Astrobin. The only difference is that the original file won’t be available for download to anyone on Telescopius either. At any rate, owners should always keep a copy of their original files out of the cloud (or multiple cloud sources) for security reasons.

This still does not work. My username for AB is SparkyHT, link to gallery is

Sorry for that. At the time you wrote there was a second temporary issue that is already fixed. Please try again, it should work fine this time.

Can confirm that it’s now working properly for me.

Thanks,
Andy

Still not working. Same error message, cannot find profile

It should be working fine now, as I see imports coming through every day. If you let me know your Telescopius username, I can try the import for you to see if there’s a particular issue with your user.
