Export observation lists to KStars and/or SkySafari

I am finding your site to be more and more useful. I have a request for a feature: I would like to be able to import observation lists into other programs, particularly the free KStars, and also SkySafari. I use astroberry to control my rigs, and love being able to run kstars on my laptop while all the indi drivers run on the astroberry. Just clicking on an observation in a list in SkySafari centers the object in the map, which is great for gross visualization, but not so great for framing and composition, at which Telescopius excels.

Actually, there is a schema, now located at xmlns:oal=“http://groups.google.com/group/openastronomylog” for just these purposes. However, it was last updated in 2009. KStars does use it for their observation list export.

Hi I have a script to convert from TS to Sky safari on this thread https://support.simulationcurriculum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360036119694-Is-There-A-Way-To-Automate-The-Conversion-Between-CSV-And-Skylist-File-Formats-Answer-Use-Another-Program-To-Convert-

Thank you! This is a great idea and I have just added it to the backlog. I’ll make sure to let you know when it’s done.
