How to edit a previous post?

Hi,
I’d like to edit a post I posted a week ago, but the ‘Edit’ Britton is no longer displayed - how can I make corrections to a previous post ?

Hi Gary! Posts can be edited only for a period of time after creating them - this is to preserve the history of the conversation as faithful as possible. After that, you can only post updates in the thread as new messages (replies).

Posts can be edited up to 1 day after they are created.
