Is it possible to save two or more observatory locations? Say, one home location and one remote location?

Simply: Yes, it is possible
You can select “other places” in the details for an uploaded image and then set the place you want

Yes, you can save multiple observatories. Just open your location in the Observatory Settings panel, top left corner, and then “Add frequent location…”. You’ll be able to save your different observatories and switch between them with one click.
