The “reach an altitude of” keeps changing to 30 degrees. And I keep changing it back to 10 degrees.
Could you please list the steps you’re taking? I don’t see this behavior, every time I go back to the search page the altitude is the same as I set before.
Please note, if you have your search bookmarked, the altitude may be set in the URL so that will take precedence to whatever you have set before.
If that’s not the case, I’ll need to know exactly what you’re doing to try and find the problem. Thanks.
I’ll look for it, It may be switching from PC/ Ipad and back and forth causes it, but I’ll see.
Yeah i keep setting it to 10, but it keeps going back to 30, I’m trying to find cause.

Yep i set it to 10 earlier today because it 30, and now its back to 10. Weird.

So when i went back to click on the weather (like I i clicked on Tuesday), and the weather refreshed, then the altitude went back to 30:

Right here is the difference between just reporting the problem, or providing a bit more info. Now that you mentioned that you were changing the date in the weather box, I was able to pinpoint the issue very quickly, thank you!
The problem was that the search would reset the minimum altitude to your location’s default whenever the observatory parameters changed. This is meant to happen only if you switch the location, not the date. I’ve just tweaked this so the altitude is reset only when you change the location.
I’ve just fixed this in version 260316.1500, let me know how it goes!
Sure, glad to help i just couldn’t identify what causing the issue at first.
Yeah, I appreciate that! Just wanted to emphasize how much easier it is for me to find the problem when I know how to reproduce it. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it! ![]()
