Telescopious is down?

4 October 2025: The last two days Telescopious freezes on an image with all the circles around the objects in bold white with red lettering. After a few seconds a pop-up announces the page is not responsive and after a few more seconds the site crashes with the Error code: Out of Memory.

Indeed: this is something that is also happening to me these days.

Sorry about that! I’ve just fixed this bug in version 251004.2245

I just tried to open Telescopius on my desktop computer and the situation still exists on that computer. An FYI: My desktop is an old HP running Win10-PRO. I have three other computers, all IntelNUCs, running Win 11-PRO. Telescopius works normally on these. I am thinking that this has something to do Microsoft’s actions with regard to ending support for Win 10. Nothing else makes sense with what I am experiencing.

This is an edit to the above: After reading your post and responding to it (the above paragraph), I did a copy of the version number, entered Telescopius version 251004.2245 into Google, then clicked on the Telescopius link and everything started working again. Installed the plug-in and that worked as well. I hope this is just a case of my IntelNUCs doing an automatic update of Telescopius and the HP sleeping on the job!

I thank you for your response and whatever you did to fix the issue.

It has nothing to do with Windows, Intel or the browser. It was a bug on Telescopius. It’s just it takes a visit to the website until it detects there’s a new version and updates. Your second visit did the trick. Sorry for the confusion!
